If the system seems not working properly after installation, please check if the necessary services and applications are running properly at first. If any service is missing, then we need to ask you to uninstall the program, restart the computer and then install it again to recover the installation failure.
Services
To check the services:
- Open the Services console on the teacher and some problem student computers by going to the Windows Search box and typing in "Services" (or services.msc). You'll more than likely see the little Services gear icon pop up and click on it to open.
- Look to see if following services are listed
- Teacher Computer
- CHAgent - program start up service
- VCS Service - Screen transfer service
- Student Computer
- CHAgent - program start up service
- VCS Service - Screen transfer service
- Power Control Service Client Service
- Device Limit Service
- Teacher Computer
- Please check if all services are Running. If it's not, then please click on the Start or Restart on each stopped service.
To recover if any service is missing:
- If you don't see some services on your computers, then they are probably failed to install for some reason. Please uninstall the program, restart the computer and then install it again (right click the installer and select "Run as Administrator" to make sure you give administrator privilege to run the install program).
- After re-installation finished, then restart the computer again by following prompt.
- Log in as administrator account again to make sure all services starts properly.
- Open the services console and check if all the necessary services are installed and running again.
